The latest issue of Unmanned Systems Technology magazine has a feature article on ground control systems which profiles one of our multi-port MIMO / MANET sector antennas (Part # 1055-330) paired with Avwatch's Mobile Tracking System.

We've just released a new version of our popular 4 dBi omni-directional antenna, with an operational frequency range of 2.2 - 2.5 GHz.

Part # 1085-225 features a rugged, low visibility matte black G10 fiberglass radome and black chrome TNC(m) RF connector, making the antenna suitable for tactical or low-visibility applications.

Our new whitepaper The Importance of RF Connector Selection in Antenna Design is now available to read and download from the Southwest Antennas website.

This general education whitepaper covers the basics of RF connectors that are commonly used in the antenna industry, including pros and cons for different applications why using high-quality RF connectors is paramount to antenna performance and ultimately the performance of the entire RF system.

QuantumFlow will Represent Southwest Antennas’ line of high-performance antennas and RF accessory products

San Diego, California, March 5, 2019 - Southwest Antennas, an industry leader in rugged RF and microwave antennas and accessory product solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of QuantumFlow as their new authorized sales representative firm covering the territory of Southern California.

Southwest Antennas is pleased to announce our new line of stand-alone RF filter modules that can be quickly integrated into existing radio systems or added to new systems during planning and deployment.

With the increasing number of radios operating in close proximity to each other and the proliferation of communications equipment in urban and suburban environments, the addition of RF filtering to a system can help eliminate out-of-band interference that degrades radio performance.

Southwest Antennas has released a new omni-directional antenna for use in the 5.15 - 5.25 GHz ISM band.

Southwest Antennas has released a new Ultra-Flex sealed spring omni-directional antenna for use in the 902 - 928 MHz ISM-Band frequency.

Southwest Antennas has released a new compact omni-directional antenna for DOD and military radio systems, such as handheld or body-worn radio systems, or unmanned systems such as ground robots and aerial vehicles.

Part # 1001-218 covers the 1.35 - 1.4 GHz frequency band, and offers a peak gain of 2.15 dBi. The antenna can handle 50W of input transmit power.

From our team to yours, we wish you a very happy holiday season!
