Southwest Antennas has just released two new omni-directional antennas for use on tactical radio systems, MIMO / MANET mesh networks, unmanned systems, and other applications for users who operate networks within the C-band, including federal law enforcement and, DOD, military, and NATO user groups.
These antennas feature 6 dBi of peak gain, 50 watt RF power handling, and RP-TNC(m) RF connectors with integrated spring base, allowing the antenna to bend and flex upon impact, reducing the chance of damage to mated RF connectors and components.
Southwest Antennas has just released a new addition to our expanding line of compact, high-performance wideband omni-directional antennas.
Covering 1.35 - 2.5 GHz, Southwest Antennas Part # 1001-243 is ideal for tactical radio systems with multi-band operating capabilities, or for users who wish to reduce the number of antennas in their kit. This antenna is compatible with both single-port SISO radios as well as multi-port MIMO/MANET radio systems.
Southwest Antennas offers a number of small form factor omni-directional antennas that can be used in applications where antenna size and weight are limited due to install space limitations, weight restrictions, or other requirements which necessitate using a small antenna.
Due to their small size, these antennas are ideal for unmanned systems, hand-held tactical radios, covert surveillance systems, or any other radio application where the physical size and weight of the antenna must be minimized.
Southwest Antennas has released two new magnetic mounting kits for rapid omni-directional antenna deployment applications. These mounting kits feature a strong 3.2" diameter magnet, with a removable neoprene rubber surface protection cover.
The two new magnetic mounts feature SMA or RP-SMA RF connectors, and can be used to quickly deploy omni-directional antennas on any magnetic surface such as vehicles or unmanned robotic systems, in addition to fixed site locations such as buildings, towers, or other structures.
In order to meet the demand for single-radome MIMO antennas for medium range aircraft performing ISR missions, we've released a pair of new antennas built off our existing, proven MIMO antenna technology with design improvements specifically for these new mission requirements.
Our engineering team has added a new flange mount base, in addition to reinforcing the antennas for the higher altitude and airspeed achieved by medium range military turboprop aircraft that are commonly used for surveillance, patrol, search and rescue, and transport operations.
Part # 1001-236 is our first Ultra-Flex antenna offering covering the 2.5 - 2.7 GHz band. This antenna features an elevation beamwidth of 69 - 73 degrees and peak gain of 2 dBi.
All of Southwest Antennas' Ultra-Flex omni antennas feature our sealed Ultra-Flex spring base that prevents rain, dust, dirt, mud, or other substances from fouling the spring. The spring also helps prevent damage to mated RF connectors, and makes the antenna ideal for use on tactical radio systems, unmanned systems, and more.
Southwest Antennas is monitoring the international situation in regard to the spread of COVID-19 and we are taking extra precautions to protect the health and safety of our staff and customers, and to further ensure that Southwest Antennas can stay open for operation during this time while continuing to deliver products as expected.
Southwest Antennas has released two new omni-directional antennas for use in UHF and ISM band applications. With options for either a Ultra-Flex sealed spring base or flexible gooseneck base, making these antennas ideal for tactical radio systems, MIMO & MANET radio systems, handheld video receivers, unmanned robotics platforms, and other applications.
