New Options for Gooseneck Antennas with Integrated Flexible RF Gooseneck Base

Southwest Antennas has released several new antennas with integrated RF gooseneck base. These rugged gooseneck antennas are ideal for the following applications:

  • Bodyworn or hand-held radio systems. The gooseneck antenna can be secured through MOLLE loops or other tactical clothing if needed. The cylindrical radome provides the antenna additional strength and eliminating issues where “paddle” shaped antennas don’t lie flat against the operator’s kit.
  • Wireless broadcast cameras for live news events or sports coverage.
  • OCUs (Operator Control Unit) for UAVs and unmanned robotics platforms.
  • Gooseneck antennas can be flexed at an angle to add polarization and spatial diversity to MIMO / MANET radio applications.
  • Antennas with sealed waterproof goosenecks are ideal for maritime applications where radios and antennas may become fully submerged under water. The sealed gooseneck antenna can be submerged to 20 m / 65.6 ft depth.
  • Flat black radomes and black chrome RF connectors for low visibility applications. This is particularly useful for military, special forces, and law enforcement applications.

The new antennas released include the following parts:

SWA Part # Description
