New S and C-Band Antennas Add Type-N(m) RF Connector Option
Southwest Antennas has released two new options for their existing line-up of dual band omni-directional antennas, adding non-rotating Type-N(m) RF Connectors as an option for purchase. These antennas are a popular choice for MIMO / MANET radio systems, hand-held and bodyworn tactical radios, wireless broadcast video cameras, and unmanned robotics platforms. Dual band frequency coverage gives operational flexibility to users who may be operating in multiple environments that wish to minimize the amount of kit needed for different scenarios.
Southwest Antennas Part # 1001-141 features a flexible integrated RF coaxial gooseneck that can bend and hold the antenna at non-vertical angles, which can be useful to help optimize link gain or imprive polarization diversity on multi-antenna radios. The integrated gooseneck also makes it easy to secure these antennas on MOLLE gear, web gear, or other tactical vests.
