Southwest Antennas has released a new Ultra-Flex sealed spring omni-directional antenna for use in the 902 - 928 MHz ISM-Band frequency.
Part # 1001-171 features Southwest Antennas' Ultra-Flex sealed spring base with TNC(m) RF connector, which allows the antenna to bend up to 90 degrees and return to its original vertical operating position. This flexibility helps prevent damage to mated RF connectors and radios. The spring is environmentally sealed, preventing fouling by rain, dust, dirt, mud, or other debris. The flat matte black radome makes the antenna ideal for tactical deployments or other installation scenarios where the antenna should not draw attention.
The antenna can operate with up to 50 Watts of input RF power, has a peak gain of 2.15 dBi, and a 77 degree vertical beamwidth.
902 - 928 MHz applications include:
- Non-licensed ISM-Band communication networks for voice, data, and video
- Low-power video links
- Federal law enforcement surveillance and communication systems
- Federal hydrological monitoring, telemetry, and communication systems
- Military fixed point-to-point communication systems and telecommand networks
Full technical specifications for Part # 1001-171 can be viewed on the product page. Other 902 - 928 MHz ISM-Band products are available from Southwest Antennas, including directional antennas and concealment antennas.
