Inside Sales Associate

Job Summary:
Southwest Antennas, Inc. is looking for a motivated and well-spoken individual to join our sales team. As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be a driving force in our company’s revenue growth and will play a crucial role in establishing and developing relationships in a way that is positive and professional.
You will be responsible for lead qualification, assisting sales staff with pre-sales customer-facing activities and handling the sales process for standard product sales and/or opportunities. You will be required to collaborate with all levels of professionals, so it is essential that you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure success of sales and marketing goals.
- Ability to enhance and refine the sales communication process to achieve optimum product sales support and customer service.
- Ability to identify, make recommendations, and implement improvement in all areas of the sales process, to achieve efficiency and productivity.
- Research and understand SWA’s product line and to become familiar with each product's function and purpose, so you can confidently cross sell our customers to compatible products.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements to both customers and the internal Southwest Antennas team.
- Identify, customer use case and suggest products to help customers achieve their use case goals.
- Responsible for all Sales administration processes via use of CRM, MRP/ERP Software as well as other sales software.
- Use customer feedback to suggest new ideas about new features or products.
- Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
- Work with internal teams to plan, manage and maintain internal monthly sales targets and production schedules.
- Coordinate top level management of sales order driven projects to meet engineering and shipping deadlines.
- Track bookings, billings, and backlog targets set by the company and communicate status of sales targets to both sales team and upper management.
- Report to Sales Director on sales metrics, opportunities and suggest sales department improvements:
- Report Weekly / Bookings
- Report Weekly / Billings
- Report Weekly / Backlog
- Ensure sales, finance, engineering, production and legal policies and procedures are met.
- Cost model creation support.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required, technical trade school a plus.
- Technical, military, law enforcement and aerospace experience are a plus.
- RF Microwave and Electronics experience a plus.
- Professional experience related to the above duties and responsibilities specified above a plus.
- Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. Citizenship is required, and employee can have no criminal record or warrants.
