Product Overview
The Southwest Antennas part # 1027-028 GPS Active L1 Antenna is a high-performance and ruggedized product designed to provide accurate timing and location services for GPS receivers, manpack radios, hand-held tactical radio systems, and other small form factor radio systems.
The GPS L1 Active Antenna features 11 dB of active low noise amplifier gain coupled with narrowband SAW filtering providing >50 dB out of band rejection from 35 MHz above and below the L1 center frequency. The integrated high linearity LNA provides both a very low noise figure (<2.2 dB) and a high output IP3 (+15 dBm).
This antenna's narrowband, commercial-grade filter makes it especially useful for applications where the GPS receiver will be located next to transmit antennas by working to eliminate co-site interference, keeping the GPS antenna operational for critical location and timing services.
