Product Overview
The Southwest Antennas part # 1027-011 GPS Active L1 Antenna is a high-performance and ruggedized product designed to deliver precise location services and timing information for GPS receivers, manpack radios, hand-held radios, and other small form factor radio systems. The antenna features a recessed, non-rotating TNC(m) RF connector and is waterproof to 65 feet / 60 meters, making it suitable for service in harsh environments.
Part # 1027-011 features +11 dB of active low noise amplifier gain coupled with narrowband SAW filtering providing >30 dB out of band rejection from 60 MHz above and below the L1 center frequency (1575.42 MHz). The integrated high linearity LNA provides both a very low noise figure (<1.5 dB) and a high input IP3 (+4.9 dBm).
This antenna's narrowband, commercial-grade filter make it especially useful for applications where the GPS receiver will be located next to transmit antennas by working to eliminate co-site interference, keeping the GPS antenna operational for critical location and timing services.
