BODY WORN ANTENNAS
We offer a wide range of body worn antennas covering ISM, L, S, and C bands for a variety of applications:
RHCP & LHCP S-Band Antennas
Our new S-Band body worn antennas operate from 2.1 - 2.5 GHz, offering excellent performance in DHS/DOJ licensed radio spectrum or the unlicensed 2.4 GHz ISM band. The antenna measures a slim 2.2" W x 2.2" L x .51" H for easy concealment inside of tactical vests, MOLLE pouches, or other clothing and weigh a mere 1.3 ounces.
These body worn antennas are ideal for use in multi-antenna MIMO / MANET radio applications such as handheld and small form factor body worn tactical radios.
Available in both Right Hand Circular Polarization and Left Hand Circular Polarization.
RHCP & LHCP L-Band Antennas
Brand new to our growing family of body worn antennas are two new directional antennas that operate from 1.35 - 1.39 GHz, making them ideal for use with military / Department of Defense tactical radios and applications, including handheld, man-pack and body worn radio systems.
Both RHCP and LHCP polarization options are available. These antennas offer superior RF performance in a compact package that is easily stored in a tactical vest or MOLLE pouch, keeping them out of the operator's way during critical situations.
STC FLANGE ANTENNAS
These antennas are ideal for use on helicopters or aircraft! The integrated STC flange allows for secure mounting, and all screws on these antennas feature lock-wire for added safety.
Omni Bifilar Antenna, LHCP, 2.3 - 2.5 GHz, 4.8 dBic
Our omni bifilar antennas are an ideal choice for communication between ground and air vehicles. The circular polarization helps keep a solid RF link when the vehicle is banking or turning, and the bifilar radiation pattern offers complete overhead coverage.
SWA Part # 1087-061 is a Left Hand Circularly Polarized bifilar that covers 2.3 - 2.5 GHz and has 4.8 dBic Gain. The antenna can handle 20W of power.

Part of our new line of L-Band omni antennas covering 1.0 - 1.5 GHz, these small antennas are only 7" long and 0.56" in diameter, making them ideal for mounting on aircraft or vehicles. A Type-N(f) RF connector is featured under the STC flange.
This antenna is available in a matte flat black finish or awhite finish for light colored vehicles.

Two and Four Input Slant Polarized MIMO Antennas with Magnetic Base
Designed to operate at 2.1 - 2.5 GHz, these MIMO antennas feature a strong magnetic base for quick deployment and 12 feet of integrated low-loss RF cable, making them ideal for vehicles or other mobile applications. 45° Slant Right / Slant Left polarization helps improve diversity.

WI-FI / ISM BAND ANTENNAS
Our low-profile 2.4 - 2.5 GHz panel antenna is designed specifically for 802.11g/n Wi-Fi and unlicensed ISM band applications. The small form factor design allows the antenna to be easily integrated with radio systems for rapid deployment ad-hoc networks for both commercial and government applications. Included mounting holes also allow for long-term installation within buildings or other structures. The sealed Kydex radome is UV stable and weatherproof, making the antenna suitable for both outdoor or indoor use, and is MIL-STD 810 drop test compliant.
RF COAXIAL GOOSENECK ASSEMBLIES
RF Coaxial Gooseneck Assemblies allow for flexible mounting for antennas on radios or other products, giving users the ability to bend the gooseneck over 90 degrees to optimize antenna transmit or receive positions and help minimize cosite interference. RF Coaxial Goosenecks from Southwest Antennas come in a range of lengths, diameters, and RF Connector options and can be customized to maximize compatibility across all radio platforms and antennas.

ULTRA-FLEX DIPOLE OMNI ANTENNAS
Since their introduction, our Ultra-Flex dipole antennas have become a popular option for extending range and performance of radio systems, particularly with MIMO and MANET applications.
Each Ultra-Flex features an environmentally-sealed spring base which allows the antenna to bend up to 90 degrees to help deflect impacts, reducing stress on the radio RF connection. The sealed spring allows for operation in all weather conditions without worry of rust, and the rugged G10 fiberglass radome holds up to abuse in the field.
Now available in the following popular frequency bands:
- 1.35 - 1.40 GHz (Department of Defense / military band)
- 2.1 - 2.5 GHz (DHS/DOJ licensed band or unlicensed ISM band)
- 4.0 - 6.0 GHz (licensed and unlicensed bands)
Antennas are available with a number of non-rotating RF Connector choices, including TNC(m), SMA(m), and Type-N(m). Also available with Reverse Polarity RF connectors.
CLOVERLEAF OMNI ANTENNAS
We're pleased to introduce our new small form factor “Turbo Cloverleaf” family of circularly polarized (CP) Omni antennas in 1.98 - 2.2 GHz and 2.3 - 2.5 GHz frequencies.
These new and innovative antenna products deliver substantial increases in high data rate throughput and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in a very compact, rugged radome that measures two inches or less on all sides. Each antenna in the new family of products also features an integrated three inch RF coaxial gooseneck assembly with ruggedized non-rotating RF connector options that allows for flexible antenna mounting and positioning with other closely located equipment or co-located antennas.
This is the world’s smallest cloverleaf style antenna offering robust performance with modern radio systems that are increasingly seeing operation in the wireless broadcast TV / wireless video and live sports markets, UAV / drone video systems, vehicle-mounted radios, and tactical law enforcement and military radios that are utilizing MIMO/MANET system architectures for improved video, voice, and data transmission.
Southwest Antennas provides quarter wave monopole antenna solutions to many radio manufacturers, defense companies, and commercial clients for use on handheld and body worn radio systems.
We design and manufacture several types of monopole antennas:
50 Ohm quarter wave narrow band monopoles
50 Ohm quarter wave wide band monopoles with matching network integrated into the base of antenna
Non-50 Ohm monopole antennas that can be matched with components inside radio system
Monopole antennas are single conductor antennas which require connection to a ground plane to operate, unlike dipole antennas which contain two conductors and are generally ground plane independent. For example, with a handheld radio, the radio itself acts as a ground plane for the monopole antenna.
To achieve desired bandwidth monopole antennas are often designed to include matching network components, which ensure the antenna achieves desired band coverage for its application. However, the ability to change the matching network allows for unique applications for non-50 Ohm antennas.
